Recipe: how to cook Chinese food, Sweet White Fungus Soup (dessert)
Sweet White Fungus Soup is a women’s favourite dessert. White fungus help liver detox and lungs clean. It improves beauty and rejuvenation. Commonly, the basic ingredients are white fungus and Chinese date. People also put goji, dried lily bulb, lotus seed, dried longan, peach resin and so on.
INGREDIENTS:
white fungus / Chinese date / lotus seed /dried longan / dried lily bulb / rock sugar
The simplest way is that you put all ingredients into slow cooker cook for some hours. If you don’t have a slow cooker, please cook as the following steps.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1: soak lotus seed and dried lily bulb in warm water for 10 minutes. soak white fungus until soft.
Step 2: remove the base of white fungus.
Step 3: put white fungus into cool water and poach.
Step 4: cut Chinese date into small pieces. you could skip this step.
Step 5: remove the lotus seed core.
Step 6: has poached the white fungus for 15 minutes.
Step 7: add all ingredients into the pot except the rock sugar.
Step 8: turn off the heat after 30 minutes.
Step 9: add rock sugar. DONE❕you could keep it in the fridge.
