Recipe: how to cook Chinese food, Steamed Egg Custard
Steamed Egg Custard is a common homemade dish. Sometimes it is served as breakfast. As it is soft and smooth, some people make it for their kids as baby food. You could put some dried small shrimps to get calcium.
INGREDIENTS:
1 egg
1g salt
90g hot water
dried small shrimps (optional)
soy sauce (optional)
chive (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1: whisk the egg and salt well. if you put some dried small shrimps, don’t need add salt.
Step 2: add hot water and keep whisking at the same time.
Step 3: put some cool water into the steam pot, and stay the step 2 bowl on the steamer. steam around 5 to 6 minutes after the water boiling. make sure there is no liquid egg, turn off the heat.
Step 4: open the lid after 1 to 2 minutes. you could add some soy sauce or chives. DONE❕
