Recipe: how to cook Chinese food, Yuxiang Shredded Pork
Yuxiang Shredded Pork is a classic traditional Sichuan dish, which is without a long history but is very popular in China and overseas.
INGREDIENTS:
- 250g lean pork
- 50g wood ear
- 50g carrot or celtuce
- 40g bell pepper
- 20g chilli bean sauce
- 20g sugar
- 20g vinegar
- 15g soy sauce
- 15g cooking wine
- 2g white pepper powder
- 1 egg white
- 1g salt
- 10g starch
- 20g water
- minced garlic, ginger and spring onion
INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1: shred carrot, wood ear and bell pepper.
Step 2: marinate shredded pork for 10 minutes in salt, white pepper powder, cooking wine, egg white and starch mixture.
Step 3: prepare chilli bean sauce and minced garlic, ginger, spring onion.
Step 4: make a sauce with sugar, vinegar, cooking wine, soy sauce, starch and water.
Step 5: stir-fry in hot oil until it turns white. transfer out and set aside.
Step 6: stir carrot and chilli bean sauce until the chilli oil comes out.
Step 7: put wood ear, bell pepper, ginger, garlic and spring onion.
Step 8: put the pork.
Step 9: pour the sauce and stir evenly. DONE❕
