Recipe: how to cook Chinese food, Wonton
Wonton is a traditional Chinese food originating from northern China. Stuffing is wrapped by thin wonton wrapper and served with soup. Since the Tang Dynasty, the name of Jiaozi and Wonton have been officially distinguished. The stuffing and the wrapping way are various in different Regions.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1–2 bags Wonton wrapper
- 500g Mince
- 250g Bok choy
- 2 tablespoons Cooking wine
- 5g Salt
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 2g White pepper (optional)
or prepare any stuffing as preferred.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1: prepare mince.
Step 2: put the bok choy in hot water for 3–5 minutes. drain the water.
Step 3: chop bok choy and squeeze the juice out.
Step 4: put mince and bok choy together. add cooking wine, salt, white pepper and oil.
Step 5: mix well.
Step 6: put the stuffing in the centre and wrap as the following picture instructions.
There are many ways to wrap wonton:

Step 7: put the wonton in boiling water. wait water is boiling again and the wonton float up. turn off the heat.
Step 8: transfer out. you could add some spring onion, vinegar, sesame oil, white pepper or chilli oil. DONE❕
If you want to put some dry small shrimp and nori. you need put the dry shrimp and nori into a bowl first, then add some wonton soup. then transfer wonton to the bowl. decorated with some spring onion.
