Recipe: how to cook Chinese food, Sweet and Sour Pork

weet and Sour Pork is one of the most popular Chinese traditional dishes among foreigners and Chinese. It is appetising because of its taste.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 250g pork tenderloin
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ Spring onion
  • 2–3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 soup spoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons cooking wine
  • flour
  • cornstarch
  • sesame (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1: prepare ingredients.

Step 2: loose both side of the pork with the knife back.

Step 3: cut pork into strips. add egg. mix with cooking wine, salt and white pepper.

Step 4: mix well and stay 10–15 minutes.

Step 5: wrap with flour and shake off the excess flour.

Step 6: heat oil to 150ºC then turn low heat. fry pork to light yellow colour. transfer out and drain the oil. heat the oil to 200ºC, fry the meat again until it turns to golden colour and has crispy hardness outside.

Step 7: drain the oil with a kitchen towel.

Step 8: keep little oil in the pot. add ketchup, white vinegar, salt, sugar and water starch. put meat and stir-fry quickly and evenly.

Step 9: transfer out. decorate with some spring onion and sesame. DONE❕
