Recipe: how to cook Chinese food, Preserved Egg with Tofu
Preserved Egg with Tofu is a home-made cold salad. The main ingredients are silken tofu, preserved egg, sesame oil and coriander. It is simple in preparation, rich in nutrients, and remove inner heat. It is rich in various nutrients required by the human body.
INGREDIENTS:
- Silken tofu 100g
- Preserved egg 6 pcs
- Spring onion
- Coriander
- Black soybean 12 pcs
- Chilli oil
- Soy sauce
- Vinegar
- Sesame oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
Normally Preserved Egg with Tofu cooking way is very simple. peel and cut the preserved eggs, put all ingredients on tofu (except the black soybean, it is for fish eye decoration)
if you want to have a creative decoration, please follow the next steps
Step 1: cut tofu and place on a plate.
Step 2: cut the egg in half as the golden fish main part.
Step 3: cut eggs in half, and cut it into different size small slices for golden fish tails. the crystal slices could put on both sides of the tails. before cutting the egg, you should dip the knife in water, that wouldn’t make the yolk stick on the knife.
Step 4: want to have layers, you could put the dark part in the middle of the tail and put the crystal slices on both sides. decorate the black soybean as eyes.
Step 5: dip in sauce or sprinkle the sauce on the dish. DONE❕
