Dragon Beard Candy is a traditional folk snack, which is named after the white and dense appearance, and the fineness and shapes of the dragon beard. It is said that it was a snack of the ancient emperors, which has over 2000 years of history.

You must be patient and control the pulling strength. Stretching to thin as a hair, melt in the mouth instantly. If you can make Dragon Beard Candy, that means you get a unique skill.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 50g water
  • 500g maltose
  • 500g flour or starch

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1: heat water and maltose over high heat until it is thick. cool to room temperature.

Step 2: make a roll and twist to 8 shape.

Step 3: repeat to twist it in flour quickly until it is thin as a hair.

Step 4: divide into several parts, roll it up. DONE❕

you could put some stuffing, such as peanut or sesame.
