Recipe: how to cook Chinese food, Dou Hua_salty Dou Hua_sweet Dou Hua_beancurd
Dou Hua is called dou fu nao’er in the north of China with salty flavour. Meanwhile, in the south of China, it is named douhua, and it has a sweet flavour. Dou Hua is a traditional snack, which is said to have originated from the Han Dynasty. Salty Dou Hua is a common breakfast in the north of China, according to different regions, it is served with the different marinade.
INGREDIENTS:
- 900g soy milk
- 4g glucono delta-lactone
- 3 wood ear
- 1 egg
- 2 coriander
- 2 spoon soy sauce
- 1 spoon starch
- salt
- sesame oil (optional)
- chilli oil (optional)
- dried baby sea shrimp (optional)
sweet Dou Hua ingredients: soy milk, sugar and glucono delta-lactone. Step: follow step 3 and 4. (mix sugar with soy milk firstly)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1: chop the soaked wood ear.
Step 2: cut the coriander.
Step 3: pour glucono delta-lactone into a big bowl.
Step 4: cool the boiling soy milk in room temperature for 2 minutes. pour into the bowl, mix evenly, then cover with lid for 15 minutes.
Step 5: pour 3 bowls of water into a pot.
Step 6: put the wood ear.
Step 7: add soy sauce and heat it to boiling.
Step 8: mix starch with a ½ bowl of water and pour into the soup and stir evenly.
Step 9: pour egg liquid and stir immediately and rapidly. add salt, coriander and dried baby shrimp. turn off the heat after boiling again.
Step 10: transfer some Dou Hua in a bowl.
Step 11: topped with marinade. DONE❕
